6 inch mahogany cased mantle clock with a cast brass bezel and painted dial circa 1947.
An English manufactured going barrel movement with platform lever escapement held within rectangular brass plates which are stamped Smiths clocks and watches ltd, in fully overhauled condition.
Case
The case is made from mahogany and is also stamped with the number BR(E) 13288 underneath.
The L.N.E.R. records show that this clock was located at Kings Cross Station, Chief Stores Supt Office.
