6 inch mahogany cased wall clock with a cast brass bezel and painted dial circa 1948.
Case
The Round case in made from layers of segmented mahogany and has the clock number BR(E) 13536 stamped into the back.
An English manufactured going barrel movement with platform lever escapement held within rectangular brass plates, manufactured by Smiths clocks London Circa 1948, in fully overhauled condition.
The L.N.E.R. records show that this clock was located at Doncaster Locomotive Works, Chief Mechanical & Electrical Engineer, Loco Works Manager, Chief Clerks Office.
