This is the first entry sent in by Justin, a tip for setting clocks in Beat.

HI SIMON,

I WAS JUST READING YOUR PAGE ON HOW TO SET UP THE "BEAT" FOR A FUSEE CLOCK, AFTER YOU  ATTACH THE PENDULUM, AND  RUN THE CLOCK FOR A MINUTE OR SO TO SETTLE IT DOWN AND ADJUST THE BEAT BY EAR FOR AN EVEN TICK TOCK, IF YOU STOP THE PENDULUM STILL AND TILT THE CLOCK TO THE LEFT ,VERY SLOWLY, UNTIL YOU HEAR IT TICK, THEN MARK THE WALL BY THE BOTTOM RIGHT HAND SIDE OF THE CASE WITH A PENCIL, THE SLOWLY TILT THE CLOCK TO THE RIGHT, UNTIL YOU HEAR IT TOCK, AND MARK WITH A PENCIL AGAIN. REPEAT THIS TWICE TO MAKE SURE OF THE PENCIL MARKS , THEN DIVIDE THE PENCIL MARKS HALFWAY AND PUT A THIRD PENCIL LINE, THIS THIRD LINE WILL PUT THE CLOCK CORRECTLY IN BEAT, EVEN FOR A NOVICE .

THATS MY TOP TIP FOR 2007.
